The 22nd 2026 Hot Melt Adhesive Industry Innovation and Development Forum was successfully held in Suzhou - jointly exploring innovative paths and empowering high-quality development of the industry

At present, China's hot melt adhesive industry is in a critical stage of transformation, upgrading, and improving quality and efficiency. On the afternoon of March 23, 2026, the 11th Working Conference of the Hot Melt Adhesive Professional Committee of the China Adhesive and Adhesive Tape Industry Association was successfully held in Suzhou. As an important part of the "2026 Hot Melt Adhesive Industry Innovation and Development Forum" series of activities, this conference brings together representatives of committee units, industry consultants, and experts and scholars from all over the country. The attendees closely follow the theme of "Innovation Driven, Jointly Promoting the Stable Development of the Hot Melt Adhesive Industry", jointly explore the high-quality development path of the industry, and seek a new chapter of transformation and upgrading.

The meeting was chaired by Li Yong, Secretary General of the China Adhesive and Adhesive Tape Industry Association. At the meeting, each committee member unit reported their business data on the production, sales, export volume, and export amount of hot melt adhesives in 2025, and provided an outlook on the industry market development trend in 2026. The attending representatives had in-depth exchanges on the measures taken by enterprises to cope with industry hotspots such as the recent tightening of raw material supply and significant price fluctuations. At the end of the meeting, a special discussion was held on the preparation and promotion of the "2026 China Hot Melt Adhesive Enterprise Brand Overseas (Vietnam) Recommendation Conference". The purpose of holding this conference in the first year of the 15th Five Year Plan is to clarify the direction, gather momentum, and open up new opportunities for the hot melt adhesive industry, drive industrial transformation and upgrading through innovation, and help the industry move forward steadily, improve quality and efficiency, and achieve high-quality development.

The hot melt adhesive industry forum held a product exhibition at the same time, attracting more than 110 companies to actively participate. It not only provided an efficient platform for upstream and downstream enterprises to exchange technology, display products, and connect supply and demand, but also showcased the latest achievements of the industry in new material research and development, green and low-carbon production, high-end scene applications, intelligent manufacturing, and other fields.
